The IED Roma Libraries: Communication and Fashion Library (via Giovanni Branca 122) and Visual Arts and Design Library (via Casilina 47), are a service of primary importance to support academic careers. The aim is to facilitate students in their research for the execution of projects, preparation of examinations or personal insights related to the areas of specialisation of the Institute.

- General information on service access regulations;
- Reference (in-person and online bibliographic information);
- Shelf browsing;
- Access to digital subscriptions and databases;
- Document delivery: provision of articles from magazines in both paper and digital format, in compliance with copyright rules;
- Lending and consultation (lending, interlibrary lending, reservations, extensions);
- Consultation of the archive of the Visual Arts, Design and Jewellery Library magazines;
- Referral to other local libraries and other catalogues and resources;
- Information literacy sessions: research education (and development of research-related skills) on internal and external resources.
Enrolment
If you are an IED student you are also automatically enrolled in the library services.
If you are a lecturer or member of staff, however, you should apply for enrolment by sending this form, duly completed and signed, to biblio@roma.ied.it.
